Who We Are

The Kumasi Innovation Hub (KI-HUB) is an initiative of the Kumasi Business Incubator under the Centre for Business Development of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and technology (KNUST) Kumasi, with startup funding from the World Bank Group through the Ministry of Communications under the eTransform project. The World Bank recognises innovation and entrepreneurship as essential for addressing development challenges, such as sustainability, poverty reduction, and inclusive growth. Read more

Our Facilities

Maker's Space

This is a walk in space for young people to spend time in idea development which will lead to prototyping. The Maker’s space
boasts of 3D printers, CNC machines, Laser cutting tools etc.

Events Space and meeting rooms

Our board room, conference room, auditorium and roof top spaces are aesthetically fitted to host any medium size corporate and institutional events.

Co-Workspace

Business Start ups and entrepreneurs are welcome to rent office spaces within our co workspace. This platform will foster the building of synergies among start ups and lead to new ideas generation that can be incubated inside the KBI.

Tech Labs

We are partnering with industry to setup tech labs within the KI HUB to spur the development of innovative solutions which will solve myriads of organisational challenges. These tech labs will directly create employment for the teeming tech savvy youth that abounds in the country.
